Based in the Melbourne branch, APG is looking for a “hands on” positive, enthusiastic, and reliable Warehouse Team Leader. The role is responsible for motivating your team to achieve daily targets, maintaining high standards of quality, promoting a safe working environment whilst ensuring the best and most efficient service possible is provided to keep our customers happy.

**About the role**

The
**Warehouse Team Leader **is
***responsible for the operation of a section within the Warehouse function which could include:

- Picking orders, Packing & Dispatch of customer orders
- Receive & store incoming goods
- Managing fleet and interstate freight requirements
- Managing inventory, asset and returns

Specifically, the Warehouse Team Leader will:

- Support the Warehouse Management with the day-to-day operations and be responsible for guiding the team to be efficient in achieving business targets.
- Provide line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, rosters, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring issues, and ensuring KPI targets and quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the customer.
- Develop the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, whilst fostering a culture of working safely.
- Comply with ALL company policies, guidelines, directions & QA practices and ensure the team is appropriately trained on the procedures.
- Work with all other supervisors in the Warehouse as the business requires.
- Actively work with the team to pick, pack or put away when the workloads dictate.
- Manage any site security when required.

**About you, skills and experience**

We are looking for someone with the right attitude, ability to be adaptable, think on your feet, communicate efficiently and work well within a team.

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader who has:

- A good understanding of ERP systems and 3PL Warehouse Management processes.
- Ability to work within a rapidly changing and diverse environment.
- Prior experience as a Warehouse Team Leader or similar role.
- Demonstrated background in people supervision in an operational environment
- Knowledge or practical experience with Health Safety & Environment (HSE) practices and legislation
- Highly developed problem-solving capability complemented by an authentic and passionate customer-centric approach
- With excellent communication skills, you build great relationships.
