About the Role

Great opportunity to join our Pharmacy team as a Pharmacist Team Leader for Maternity and Neonates. This is a part-time, fixed term role, covering parental leave until January 2026.

As a Pharmacist Team Leader of Maternity and Neonates, you'll be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team at Monash Health, working alongside doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver high-quality care across inpatient, ambulatory and home-based settings.

You'll be joining Victoria's largest hospital pharmacy department, where you'll gain exposure to a wide range of clinical experiences. Our dedicated Education Team will support your growth through tailored training programs designed to enhance your clinical and leadership skills.

A Day in the Life

Working closely with the Pharmacy Team, you'll be recognised as a specialist knowledge resource in maternity and neonatal pharmacy. You will provide a high quality clinical service to patients and carers whilst building on your existing experience. You'll also provide training and development to the Pharmacy team and other disciplines across the organisation.

You'll lead quality improvement and research initiatives and will have the opportunity to engage with Pharmacy professional groups outside Monash Health. Applicants seeking Grade 4 will need to submit a portfolio of evidence demonstrating relevant experience and impact.

About You

You bring substantial hospital pharmacy experience and a strong interest in maternity and neonatal services. Your professionalism shines through in everything you do – you lead by example and consistently set high standards for others to follow. Your positive attitude fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment, making you a pleasure to work with.

Post graduate qualifications such as a Masters of Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent, will be highly regarded and reflect your commitment to ongoing professional development.

You can also demonstrate:

• Leadership experience
• Commitment to research, education and professional contribution
• Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist.
