The NFL Academy at A.B. Paterson College is seeking a professional and enthusiastic **- Head of Player Development and Positional Coach** to join our dynamic and innovative NFL Academy.

The NFL Academy is a major global initiative by the National Football League (NFL) offering talented student athletes the opportunity to combine full-time education alongside intensive training in American football. The elite football development program will enroll student athletes aged 12 - 18 years old from across the Asia-Pacific region to offer pathway opportunities into the sport with students working to secure football scholarships to U.S. colleges. The NFL Academy is based at A.B. Paterson College in south-east Queensland on Australia’s Gold Coast and will service the Asia-Pacific region.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Talent identification & recruitment.
- Coaching multiple position groups with a specific focus on the quarterback position.
- Lead the Player Development program.
- Mentorship to the student-athletes in the program and the College.
- Community relations and engagement from both A.B. Paterson College and the NFL.
- Preparing and distributing periodic progress reports.
- Effectively communicating with all other staff members who engage with students.
- Communication with parents as per college guidelines on a regular basis, including presenting student progress reports and informing parents of requisite student discipline.
- Attending parent-teacher meetings.
- Maintaining order and discipline among students whilst promoting safety and compliance within the College rules and guidelines.
- Attending Staff Professional Development workshops and meetings on curriculum, organisation and guidelines.
- Checking family details and passing relevant medical information on to the College Nurse.
- Referring students to the relevant College support personnel, such as Head of House or College Counsellor as required.
- Actively promoting the co-curricular program by attending sports games, musical productions, or club/society group meetings to support staff and students.
- Actively participating in the co-curricular offerings of the College.

**Our Requirements**:

- Current or ability to secure Australian based CPR and First Aid qualifications.
- Suitable coaching and experience in player development.
- Proven experience developing students aged 12 - 18 years of age.
- Current Blue Card / QCT Registration.
- A current resume with the contact details of at least 2 professional referees (at least one reference provided will need to be from a Senior Management Team member); and
- A cover letter outlining your suitability for this role.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
