**Accountabilities include**:

- Contribute to the department's strategic direction by providing leadership and expertise to the successful achievement of the department's planning and performance management activities in accordance with legislative and government requirements. For example, Quarterly Reporting, Service Delivery Statements, Estimates briefing.
- Contribute to the delivery and on-going success of TMR's integrated performance management framework, that demonstrates how TMR's collective performance contributes to the overall strategic plan and vision.
- Build and strengthen the team's business intelligence capability to become insight-driven and analyse and report on TMR's increasing volume of performance data.
- Undertake high level horizon scanning, lead analysis and data interpretation to inform briefings and presentations to senior management groups on TMR-related performance trends and best practice solutions.
- Develop networks across government, industry and non-government organisations to inform TMR's preparedness within a fast-paced, ever changing environment
- Manage multiple initiatives while dealing with shifting priorities, ambiguity and tight deadlines.
- Prepare and/or review complex reports, briefing notes, submissions and collateral for senior and executive management.
- Work closely with branches, stakeholders and colleagues to build greater collaboration and leverage collective knowledge for improved performance outcomes and insights.
- Contribute to team leadership by supporting the Director in a range of business activities and priorities.

This role reports to the Director, Strategy, Innovation, Performance and Risk and has up to five direct reports.
