The team
The Calculations, Data and Systems Support team is a diverse team that looks after a number of ICT areas that help make the work of Youth Justice staff easier. We are responsible for enhancements to our client management systems; coordination of business technology needs; involvement in department wide ICT projects as they relate to Youth Justice; the provision of sentence calculation information; data analysis and data quality.
Key responsibilities
As Information and Administration Officer, you will specifically:
- Maintain existing systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, quality and timeliness of output. Manage the accurate transmission of data from external sources such as Police and Courts. Interpret data and produce reports from existing databases as required. Identify and analyse complex problems in relation to youth justice information and recommend and implement acceptable solutions. Assist with the development of information systems, including user testing of system updates. Actively participate in and contribute to the good governance and objectives of the directorate and department.
