**The Administration Officer key responsibilities are**:

- Implement, maintain and review financial and administrative policies and procedures, including, travel and accommodation arrangements and building, vehicle and plant and equipment maintenance to facilitate the effective functioning of the Directorate/s.
- Maintain knowledge of current policies and procedures and attend training as required
- Prioritise and complete in a timely manner referrals, requests and responses for s159s, s59's QPS, Interstate notifications, duplicate requests, interstate CP history requests and Centrelink requests.
- Provide high quality written and excellent attention to detail when providing feedback about the intake response to professional notifiers from government and non-government agencies, including SCAN team core member agencies.
- Complete Family and Child Connect and Intensive Family Support services referrals via the online referral system consistent with legislation and departmental policies
- Provide high quality written and excellent attention to detail when responding to Response to Notice of Child Abuse, Family Violence or Risk letters when forwarding the letter to the relevant family law registry.
- Administer financial processes including procurement, ordering, payments of accounts, petty cash, monthly monitoring and reconciliation in accordance with current legislative and departmental accounting practices.
- Provide a high standard of skills in a range of software packages and databases in the administration of services provided by the Directorate/s.
- Investigate financial enquiries ensuring timely, accurate solutions are reached
- Contribute to effective team work by developing an understanding of the roles and duties of other team members and working collaboratively to deliver services to the Directorate/s.
- Liaise with Departmental officers and other Government and non Government organisations as necessary.
- Enhance the local regional community by actively practicing and promoting excellence in service delivery and public administration and identifying opportunities for improving regional client service.
- To provide advice, support and assistance to maintain accurate and effective office and information systems including administration information, management of financial systems in relation to the operation of the Service Centre and associated facilities and to provide administrative support as required
- Allocate, prioritise and perform work tasks in accordance with departmental policy, the Framework for Practice, practice guidelines and statutory, financial and administrative delegations.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
