The Everyday Business Banking (EBB) team supports the full spectrum of customers' needs from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates. We have accountability for Cash management, Merchant Solutions, Customer lifecycle Management and Transaction Banking Services frontline.
Based in the newly formed Transaction Growth and Propositions team, the Propositions Crew have the unique responsibility to design, build and run the high-profile customer propositions, that enable us to take the "best of CommBank" to the market, so we can grow our leading market share and drive greater customer value. Some of these propositions include: Real Estate, CommBank Yello for Business, Tradies Proposition, Sustainability Action Tool and Biz Enquiry.
**Do Work That Matters**
**Customer and Commercial**
- Work as part of the team to design and develop market leading propositions that unify the 'pay and get paid' experience for small to mid-size businesses, to grow share of wallet, increase engagement and drive advocacy.
- Conduct research and proactively seek out global best practice and new business partnering opportunities that will elevate our offerings.
- Support partnership agreement negotiations to deliver on the strategy and actively manage the day-to-day relationships ongoing.
- Develop metrics and manage ongoing leadership reporting and updates to measure the success of propositions and initiatives.
- Work with teams across EBB, Marketing and Channels to bring the strategy to life, in a safe and sustainable way.
- Working closely with scrum masters and technology/data teams to agree and track key prioritised work to achieve the agreed strategy and metrics within the timeframes.
- Develop process maps, journey maps and presentation materials at the highest standard, to support internal and external conversations.
- Advise on transaction banking market in terms of competition and industry changes.

- Legal related degree or business degree with significant experience in contracts with third parties
- Commercially oriented and strong business acumen with demonstrated business development experience preferred.
- Experience in product and proposition development and strategy, preferably in banking.
- The ability to lead external partnership development and management.
- Prior experience in leading through adaptive organisational and cultural change with a strong bias to challenging existing ways of working.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Customer centred design and customer journey design experience.
- Proven ability to work across many lines of business to influence outcomes.
- People leadership experience.
