Sydney, Australia Vulcan Hotel Full time

Vulcan Hotel, a 46-room heritage-listed boutique hotel in Ultimo, requires a friendly Guest Service Agent with an outgoing personality who is willing to walk the extra mile and able to multitask. The position will require the successful applicant to work full-time hours on a rotating roster Monday to Sunday.

The Vulcan Hotel is ideally located, close to Central Station.

**The duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Check-in and check-out of Hotel Guests
- Maintain Guest Accounts
- Take and entering Reservations
- Assist with all guest inquiries including Food & Breakfast related duties.

**The successful applicant**:

- High attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
- Experience using Opera (online system booking) is ideal
- A very **strong focus on customer service**, good use of initiative, excellent communication skills and a high level of personal grooming and presentation.
- Mastery of English and RSA essential (or willing to obtain)
- You are available 5 days/week Monday to Sunday on a rotating roster.

**Salary**: $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- guest service agent/receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- using Opera (online system booking): 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- RSA (or willing to obtain) (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
