**About the Role**
The Project Coordinator of the MDHS Indigenous Truth Telling Program will work directly with the Associate Dean Indigenous and the Associate Dean Diversity and Inclusion, alongside other Faculty leaders, to support Truth Telling initiatives within the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. This role will coordinate projects responding to the University’s Truth Telling publication and upcoming second volume, as well as key anti-racism initiatives. With a strong focus on strategic, positive change, the position involves stakeholder engagement, policy reform, curriculum development, and public-facing events, ensuring projects remain on track and Indigenous voices are central to the work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support the Faculty’s Indigenous Truth Telling with project oversight and managemeny
- Assist with the co-ordination and delivery of events related specifically to volumes one and two of Dhoombak Goobgoowana.
- Support the leadership team with preparing data and reports for the key stakeholders involved in these initiatives.
- Assist in identifying key initiatives that support the Anti-racism priorities detailed in the Anti-racism Action Plan, as they relate to Truth Telling.
**Who We Are Looking For**
You will also have:
- An appropriate tertiary qualification or demonstrated project development experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills with a proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks to meet competing deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly both in a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
