Aston Carter’s global leading social media client is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their SEAPAC team based in Barangaroo in Sydney. It is a 12-month fixed term contract starting ASAP.

This role covers all aspects of B2B marketing including driving world class digital marketing, top-notch industry presence, identifying and sharing the right success stories, creating meaningful content, driving the right mix of events, identifying the most appropriate set of marketing collateral and more.

This role will work closely with the APAC marketing team and local sales team and other cross functional teams to develop and execute the annual marketing plan for ANZ

The position will be part of the SEAPAC marketing team and will be a senior partner to the sales leads in Australia and New Zealand. This position requires a deep understanding of the marketing landscape for ANZ. This is a 12-month contract based in Sydney.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for B2B marketing initiatives to enhance our client’s B2B brand as well as to accelerate business growth and product adoption in ANZ
- Develop and execute world class marketing strategy and communication for all of our client’s products partnering with sales and other cross functional partners
- Create innovative content to generate new business, educate clients/partners on new products/features and engage clients/partners on innovative ways to drive awareness/sales via new marketing techniques
- Develop thought-leadership materials designed to enhance our advertisers, agency partners and the industry's understanding of digital marketing
- Develop and execute digital marketing plans including campaigns and always on content
- Develop and execute a calendar for events, sponsorships and speaking opportunities - transforming our client’s industry presence
- Work closely with cross-functional counterparts to ensure cohesion and scalability for advertising messaging, campaigns and product launches
- Exercise excellent judgment when it comes to identifying and negotiating sponsorship deals that will help to showcase our client’s strength as a marketing platform and thought-leadership around technology, marketing science and consumer insights
- Identify, pitch and manage key activations at industry events

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree preferred, MBA or equivalent a plus
- 5-8 years and above of relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability for developing industry leading marketing strategies/campaigns in a tech and/or advertising environment
- Deep knowledge of the advertising/marketing industries in Australia and New Zealand
- Strong decision-making skills with successful experience influencing and leading cross-functional teams including senior stakeholders
