AWM Electrical rewards its staff through a generous profit-share scheme and great career progression opportunities. This is a permanent role with full time hours, Monday - Friday 6:30am - 8:30am doing internal sales, 8:30am - 3pm being the projects administrator

**The role**:

- Liaise externally with customers and with suppliers, to understand and obtain accurate pricing estimates related to the supply of electrical products for construction projects of all sizes.
- Prepare project quotations ensuring they are submitted within required time frames.
- Process orders, purchase stock and assist with customer consignment.
- Work closely with the sales and purchasing staff across the branch.
- Actively keep in touch with customers and suppliers, and build strong, long-term working relationships

Some previous customer service experience would be helpful, but not essential, as full on-the-job training would be offered to the right person.

**The requirements**:

- Some project administration and or estimation experience would be helpful, but not a must have, as training would be offered to the right person.
- Sales/Customer Service background in trades/services, electrical supplier experience is a nice to have. Electricians looking to make a move are encouraged to apply.
- A meticulous attention to detail
- A confident engaging personality with some sales/customer service experience would be useful.
- An engaging communication style - with a customer service / sales aptitude is required.
- Great rapport and relationship-building abilities.
- Comfortable with negotiation and a knack with numbers and detail.
- The ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately)
