We are seeking an experienced individual with an employee relations or investigative background to join ServiceNow’s Employee Relations Workplace Investigations team, primarily supporting the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) regions (including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand). The role will be strategic partner to, and key liaison between, the Global Employment Law and Employee Relations teams.
The position will be primarily responsible for conducting complex global workplace investigations primarily in the APJ regions under the guidance of the Global Employment Law team on employment law matters, while fostering key principles of Employee Relations. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in partnering with ServiceNow’s expanding legal and employee relations teams and to work on challenging legal and employee relations issues in an exciting, fast-paced environment.

- Promote the highest ethical business standards at the organization, in line with ServiceNow’s culture of compliance and zero tolerance for unlawful behavior.
- Lead complex global internal workplace investigations from intake through completion by conducting witness interviews, analyzing electronic and written records, drafting investigation reports, communicating efficiently with key leadership, proposing remediation and delivering investigative findings with grace and empathy.
- Become a trusted partner to the Global Employment Law team, the Global People Team, Ethics & Compliance, and many other teams to further scale and globalize ServiceNow’s investigative practices.
- Provide timely, regular updates to senior personnel and executives in a concise and thoughtful manner.
- Continue to improve employee relations processes and employee experience through strategic collaboration with the Employee Relations and Global Employment Law teams.
- Identify and lead learning & development initiatives.
- Critically analyze and recommend improvements to investigative processes, case tracking, data and reporting, and techniques in a scalable, consistent way.
- Continue to hone and develop investigative skills in the areas of interviews, evidence gathering and analysis, education and report drafting.
**Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you have**:
- A strong work ethic, exceptional judgment, and uncompromising integrity
- A love of investigating and getting the root of problems and conflicts with a fair, consistent, and timely approach
- 5+ years of experience relevant to conducting workplace investigations, preferably at a private or publicly-traded company; equivalent case-management, fact-finding, and analytical experience developed as a litigator will be considered
- Strong preference for currently licensed attorneys or law school graduates with a background in employment law and/or employee relations, and/or possession of formal investigative training or certification
- Strong working knowledge of APJ or global employment laws and investigative processes; familiarity with HR and employee relations programs and processes; familiarity with key global privacy principles
- Ability to set aside personal biases and maintain objectivity when working through complex or challenging situations
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and communicate effectively with executives, senior leaders, members of management, and employees at all levels of the company, especially during investigations
- Strong critical thinking with deep analytical and observational skills
- Ability to communicate concisely and precisely, orally and in writing
- Ability to speak Japanese or Korean a plus, but not required
- Detail-oriented, organized and robust recordkeeping skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and ethics in dealing with sensitive personnel matters
- Ability to manage a full case load, juggling conflictin
