Quality Assurance Manager

**Description**:
As we continue to bring new products to the market, we are looking to bring on board a Quality Assurance Manager to Lead the Quality function at team to ensure that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumer.

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for reviewing and approving imminent and ongoing product quality control activities for effective problem resolution and timely release of Rhino Rack products.

**Purpose of the Role**:
The Quality Assurance Manager at Rhino Rack must fully understand the requirements for the product and have a sense of responsibility towards our potential and existing customers, as well as the competition. The role ensures the reputation of the brand of Rhino Rack, by ensuring that our products and services can drive sustainable growth, by implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes, and ensures compliance with the established standards.

You will do this by;
Leading the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance processes and ensures compliance with the established standards.
- Maintenance and continual improvement of a compliant quality assurance system and processes.

Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
Devise and review specifications for products or processes
Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers, and monitor their compliance
Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines, as well as legal obligations
Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements
Approve the right products or reject defectives
works collaboratively with functional teams, including product development, operations etc., to ensure the delivery of quality product to our customers
Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
Work with the manufacturing and assembly teams to ensure all quality requirements are met.
Liaise with customers, regulators, and other key influences as required.
- Monitoring legislation, standards and other relevant information, and communication of relevant changes and other information to the business.

**Skills and Experiences**:
To be successful in the position, you will have;
- 3+ plus years in the manufacturing industry in a quality assurance role.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related discipline is highly regarded
- experience in creating, interpreting, and analysing general technical procedures, analytics reports, and procedure manuals.
- Proven ability to juggle competitive timelines and priorities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, and work as part of a team, while also working autonomously.
- Internal and external audit experience.
- Safety experience is desirable, but not essential.

Proven experience as quality manager
In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
Excellent maths abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
