Our Recovery Coach Duty Officer work with our participants to accomplish their NDIS goals and outcomes, through non-face-to-face provision of supports. This includes, completing meetings together with the Recovery Coach and participant, at regular intervals throughout the duration of the plan. Preparation for plan reviews and other NDIS reporting and compliance requirements.

Our Recovery Coaching team each bring a unique background and set of skills to the table. It's this diversity that makes us stronger, allowing us to provide comprehensive support and helping our participants lead more fulfilling lives.

**About the opportunity**

The role of a Recovery Coach Duty Officer will involve:

- Providing Non-face-face provision of support to NDIS Participants and Psychosocial Recovery Coaches employed by Recovery Plus Support
- Supporting participants in developing NDIS Compliance Reports in line with NDIS Guidelines
- Conducting regular review meetings with Participants and our Psychosocial Recovery Coaches and provide oversight and guidance with respect to fund utilisation and implementation of NDIS Supports (Including documenting meeting outcomes)
- Identifying significant changes to a participant's situation and supporting the participant and Psychosocial Recovery Coach in obtaining relevant evidence and preparing NDIS reports in accordance with NDIS Guidelines.
- Collaborate with participants and our Psychosocial Recovery Coaches to ensure participant achieves against the outcomes outlined in their NDIS Goals through the effective delivery of the Recovery Coaching Plus program delivered by our Psychosocial Recovery Coaches
- Supporting participants and their care team to access and utilise tools to support the effective implementation of their NDIS Plan.

You will draw upon your professional skills and demonstrate empathy, understanding and care to support our participants with their journey towards recovery and leading a self-sufficient and fulfilling life.
- Effective and confident written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Practice Standards and Quality Indicators
- Proactive attitude

- Strong organisational and digital capabilities
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge relating to psychosocial disabilities.
- The ability to manage an individual case load and perform tasks autonomously

**Key selection criteria**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A Certificate IV in Mental Health or a bachelor’s degree in a related field will be highly regarded as will professionally experience in the mental health field.

- Evidence of COVID booster vaccination or valid medical exemption
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children's Check
- NDIS Orientation Certificate
