**About the role**

We are currently seeking an experienced legal secretary to join our Corporate team on a fourteen month parental leave contract based in our Sydney office. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to get involved in interesting work within a vibrant, collaborative and friendly environment.

Reporting to a partner, this role will provide high touch secretarial support to the practice including (but not limited to), managing crucial team administration, handling client queries and managing the monthly billing process.

**What does the role involve?**
- Administrative support to partners and fee earners in the practice group, including word processing and filing;
- Managing confidential firm information and opening new matters;
- Inputting and maintaining client data into client relationship software (Interaction);
- Assisting with client queries; and
- Managing the monthly billing process.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter who works efficiently, uses your initiative and has exemplary attention to detail. You are highly organised and proactive in your approach to tasks and take a genuine interest in the work performed by the practice.

Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential, as are excellent communication skills. You will be capable of using automated billing systems and client relationship management software (Elite 3E and InterAction preferred).
