A defence organisation requires an HR Generalist on a 12-month contract in a part-time capacity

**Your new company**

Your new company is a global defence organisation that is going through a period of increased workload. For this reason, the People & Culture team require an experienced HR Generalist to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days per week) for 12 months.

**Your new role**

Your new role will support the P&C Manager with the following duties:

- Management of end to end employee lifecycle including pushing recruitment along, onboarding, inductions, performance management and more.
- Provide HR advice and guidance to line managers on employment laws, market trends and more.
- There is a TA team and therefore no direct recruitment involved. However, there are weekly meetings where recruitment progress updates are provided and so this position needs to deal with any delays to recruitment and escalate/resolve issues where required.
- External change manager has come on board to assist with the transformation programs, but this role alongside the P&C Manager will be in charge of implementing this HR change plan across the organisation.
- Further into the contract duration there will be a focus on culture, engagement initiatives, organisation design, retention strategies and more strategic work.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed in this role you should have demonstrated experience in HR operational roles. You must have a keen eye for detail and a passion for collaborating and stakeholder engagement.

**_ You must be willing to obtain a security clearance (Baseline and then NV1)._**

**What you'll get in return**

In return for this role you will receive:

- 12-month contract with potential permanency.
- Daily rate of $500 + super.
- Part-time hours: 3 days per week (7.8 hour days).
- Opportunity to gain exposure to large HR change programs.
