Reporting to the Group General Manager Health and Wellbeing you will drive the HS&W culture at Asahi Beverages and ensure all Health and Safety activities are carried out effectively across our manufacturing and logistics footprint. You will partner extensively with Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Logistics and drive a continuous improvement mindset across our teams.

This role will require travel across our extensive Supply Chain footprint noting that the preference for location is in Melbourne.

**Key responsibilities**
- Lead adoption and understanding with stakeholders of our vision and strategic pillars that enable this ambition and the HS&W culture
- Work closely with partnering group and HS&W team to deliver on strategic plans and initiatives
- Ensuring key internal stakeholders/decision makers are involved with the development and implementation of health and safety strategy and that they actively support health and safety initiatives
- Driving a business culture where Safety and Commercial decisions are not mutually exclusive
- Leading a customer oriented (internal and external) Health, Safety and Wellbeing team
- Providing leadership and driving action on all aspects of health and safety management
- Actively driving the organisation’s Health & Safety vision and associated KPIs
- Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance in HSE activities and management of non-conformance issues across Supply Chain
- Coordinate implementation of and drive continuous improvement of all EHS programs and processes across Supply Chain.

**About You**

You will have proven and demonstrated experience as a senior manager in the Health, Safety and Wellbeing space, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing. This is a role that requires mature safety knowledge, commercial acumen and a passion for leading from the front.
- EHS qualifications and a strong preference for ICAM training
- Significant experience in a senior safety or related role demonstrating the ability to guide decisions in complex and technical areas of health and safety.
- Knowledge of early intervention, injury management and rehabilitation requirements
- Strong knowledge of safety management systems, risk assessments, incident investigations, critical control networks, assurance programs
- A high level of understanding of the legal and ethical framework that governs environment health and safety
- Track record of business partnering and coaching of senior leaders to shape ownership of EHS culture
- Demonstrated experience in project and change management
- Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels
