**About the Opportunity**

Exciting new opportunity to work within our central Legal team, and provide operational efficiency and support to the GM of Legal and wider team.

This role can offer flexibility as full time, or permanent part time (4 days per week).

**In this Role**
- Administrative Support: Manage calendars, schedule meetings, draft correspondence, and handle general queries for the GM Legal and Legal Team.
- Meeting Coordination: Organise Legal Team meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and ensure smooth communication flow.
- Process & Technology Optimisation: Identify and implement improvements in legal operations, including automation and reporting.
- Financial Management: Handle invoice and expense processing, and generate legal cost reports using the MetLegal platform.
- Contract & Signing Oversight: Assist with document signing and maintain the Metcash contracts register.
- Event & Travel Planning: Coordinate travel, organize team events, seminars, off-sites, and manage catering logistics.

**You’re Likely a Match If**
- 5+ years in similar administrative and/or operations roles within or supporting a legal team (Private practice or in-house)
- Experience in filing and general management of legal contracts
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent IT skills (MS Office Suite) and previous experience in matter management platforms. Experience with Docusign and Concur is highly regarded
- Interest in optimisation of technology and reporting
- Exceptional communication skills, with ability to liaise with all levels
- Shows initiative with a focus on efficient solutions
- Reliable, trustworthy, acts with integrity, honest and transparent
