**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are currently seeking either a **late** **3**rd** or 4**th** Year Fitter and Turner Apprentice**. Our client **Ingot - Foundry Marine Engineering**, based in **Hemmant** have been operating for over 40 years, providing products and services to a variety of market sectors including Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction and Commercial Marine to Australia, and exports to several regions internationally. Recognised in Australia as a quality precision engineering organisation, you will be a part of the team who provide high quality machining products and services with quick turnaround times.

You will be constructing, installing, and maintaining plant and machinery, undertaking various minor and major repairs to boat equipment and parts, designing, and modifying existing products, commissioning boat equipment in accordance with customer requests, turning raw castings in both CNC and manual lathes and mills, boring and drilling holes into skegs.

Undertaking this** apprenticeship **will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Fitter and Turner and you will earn your **MEM30219 Certificate III Engineering - Mechanical (Machinist).**

**ABOUT YOU**
- Must be competent with reading and drafting plans
- Experience with CAD/CAM is desirable
- Hard-working person who can work autonomously and well in a team
- Mechanical aptitude and previous experience with machinery
- Marine knowledge would be desirable but is not required
- Welding experience beneficial
- Forklift license would be advantageous
- White Card
- Successfully pass a Pre-employment medical
