**About the role**:
Our successful branch **Hemmant **branch is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and autonomous **Mechanical Fitter** who is driven and able to perform breakdown and reactive maintenance effectively.

You will be a critical part of our operations as you will help in ensuring smooth delivery, reliability and daily processes on site. This role offers permanent and stable employment on a day shift roster working on a wide variety of tasks. You will be working **Mondays to Fridays from 6 am to 2:30 pm with overtime opportunities**.

Duties include;
- Execution of reactive and regulatory maintenance as well as attending to breakdowns if the need arises
- Identifying opportunities for improvement
- Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding tasks
- Read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical drawings
- Participation in regular shutdown tasks as an individual or working with other members of the team

You will be a Maintenance Fitter who values safety, efficiency, and teamwork. You are driven, a good communicator, and have the initiative to be effective in this role.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

- Relevant mechanical trade qualification
- Ideally, a previous experience in the Industrial Manufacturing industry
- Knowledge in Hyrdaulics, Pneumatics, and Electrics will be highly regarded
- Exceptional fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Have a proactive approach whilst holding safety and customer as core values
- A confident communicator who can work autonomously and collaboratively
- Self-starter who is focused on outcomes and keen to contribute to the business as a whole
