We’re teaming up again with one of Brissy’s fave digital agencies - Gordon Digital

The team is after an experienced Growth Manager to champion business development. You'll be embedded in crafting the growth strategy while also acquiring ideal long-term clients.
**Let’s give you a snapshot of the role, shall we?**
In your first months, you’ll work closely with senior leadership to deeply understand Gordon Digital's business.
You’ll then create a strategy to build a strong pipeline and convert leads into rewarding client partnerships.
Your days will involve meeting potential clients and showcasing Gordon Digital's value. You’ll also nurture these relationships over time and connect with their talented team to win new business.
With Gordon Digital's strong referral network and healthy inbound lead flow, coupled with your business development expertise, that pipeline will quickly fill. Bringing on new clients and achieving growth goals will follow
This role emphasises partnerships and relationships. Your ability to find the right clients and bring them on board is crucial for success.
**About YOU**
To make this gig a real success, you’ll need to be an experienced Growth Manager or BDM who’s confident in the world of sales. We don’t mean ‘quick wins’ kinda sales. This is for someone with a ‘long term’ mentality who is excited to play a starring role in proudly defining and expanding how Gordon Digital drives growth now and into the future.
Gordon Digital plays the long game, with a laser-sharp focus on building values-aligned, quality relationships with their ideal clients. You’ll be at the helm of driving those long term relationships and client wins so it’s important that you’re passionate about both building and nurturing those relationships, with trust at the core of everything you do.
Beyond the sales know-how, you need to be someone who has an appreciation for the marketing + digital landscape, likely already having a strong network to lean on from the very start.
And? Since you’ll be the face of this fab agency, it’s essential that you’re someone who's got that _“je n'ais se quoi”_ or #specialsauce when it comes to understanding what levers to push and pull in a client’s digital strategy to help them achieve their business goals.
**We’ll want to take the conversation further if you’ve got**:
- A good few years of solution based sales experience with demonstrated success in achieving your targets;
- Ideally, demonstrated experience in an agency or marketing/digital sales role;
- An ability to confidently demonstrate your B2B solution selling success, while remaining humble in those successes;
- A growth mindset. You’re all about growing, learning, iterating and you love it;
- You’re ambitious, yet considered in how you reach your sales targets;
- A deep understanding of how to create and nurture a sales pipeline and the relationships of the people within it;
- You have a customer-first approach, and you’re patient with longer sales processes - you’re not the kind of salesperson who is transactional, you like to play the long game;
- You’re discerning about what businesses to target, knowing the difference between dream clients and ones that miss the mark;
- You’ve got an ability to deliver insightful and persuasive sales presentations in front of key decision-makers;
- You’re a skilled negotiator who has the ability to influence the right people;
- You’re good at diagnosing clients’ needs, objectives, and translating them into robust proposals with high impact; And
- Perhaps? You’ve already built yourself a great network of people who know you and trust you. You’ve done this through your love of working the room, meeting new people, and developing relationships.
**Here’s the muscles you’ll be flexing day-day**:
- Proactively drive revenue growth and map the market, looking for new clients;
- Help develop custom sales materials, proposals and presentations to effectively position Gordon Digital in the market;
- Build and develop relationship networks with key stakeholders in relevant businesses;
- Present solution-focused proposals and strategies to prospective clients;
- Build your personal brand [and the agency’s brand more broadly] by attending and participating in networking events, conferences, and speaking engagements;
- Help to build and evolve the internal agency sales team overtime to further develop and improve the team’s sales and relationship building skills;
- Identify ways to improve the overall approach to sales broadly within the business.
