About the role
Temporary 12 month opportunity to provide high level strategic direction, operational and clinical leadership of all aspects of a state-wide team of Allied Health Practitioners supporting victims of personal violence crime and their families where the person charged has a mental illness and or intellectual disability and is diverted to the forensic mental health and forensic disability systems
About you
- Leading a high performing team of clinicians providing authoritative judgement and advice on clinical issues and the mitigation of risks within a trauma informed care framework as required in the delivery of services to victims of serious personal violence crime and their families.
- Lead the team to actively promote continuous reflection, professional development to meet service delivery standards, cultural competency, and behaviours consistent with Metro North Health Values, strategic direction and policies.
- Provide high level leadership, strategic direction, planning, advocacy, and accountability for the state-wide delivery of complex support services to victims of personal violence crime where the person charged has a serious mental illness and or intellectual disability and is diverted to the forensic mental health system and forensic disability systems.
