My client is a global automotive equipment brand and are seeking a sales driven, customer focussed, hands on and enthusiastic **State Manager **to join their team.
- Monday - Friday
- Permanent Position
- $70K-$80K + Super (Depending on experience)
- Company Car

**To be considered for this position, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience**:

- Ability to effectively communicate in all aspects (verbally, written, electronic) with customers, external service agents, distributors, managers and head office overseas.
- Ability to work within a team
- Computer use and knowledge
- Ability to recognise customers’ needs and requirements
- Eye for detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skillsAccurate and step by step descriptive reporting
- Understanding of technical aspects of all work shop equipment and the ability to train on wheel alignment/wheel balancing/tyre changing/hoists and general equipment sold.
- Initiative and solution-based strategising for sales and after sales ie service bulletins and procedures
- Effective time management
- Keeping up to date with the latest trends and products used in the tyre/wheel industry
- Ability to build a network with existing and new customers
- Assist with in-house training and supervision as required
- Managing allocated assets including spare parts, computers, tools
- Knowledge of current Occupational Health and Safety RegulationsClean and safe working environment

Following safety procedures at customers work sites
- Actively participate in all trade shows and industry evenings
- Other duties as required
