An Asset Inspection Officer job in Melbourne paying circa $45.00 - $50.00 per hour for a local council.

A local council situated in the inner CBD area has a temporary opportunity for an Asset Inspection Officer.

**Your new role**
The duties will involve:

- Carrying out on field asset inspections for park and road related assets
- Assisting with customer requests relating to road, footpath, drainage, and furniture maintenance work
- Assisting with scoping works for our civil infrastructure maintenance contractors

**What you'll need to succeed**
As well as experience leading asset inspections in a complex organisation, you’ll have:

- Tertiary qualification in asset management, asset planning or engineering
- Demonstrated success in identifying strategies that meet community expectations and best practice
- Understanding of the maintenance of civil infrastructure and condition assessment of Council assets
