We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Designer for our Telecommunications Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:
- Plan, produce and quality assure designs on-time, within budget and to quality standards.- Ensure completed designs meet nbn architecture standards, rules, any regulatory requirements and quality processes and procedures.- Provide expert knowledge on NBN designs across multiple architecture types ensuring designs are value for money, constructible and contain mínimal excess augmentation/remediation/new build.- Ensure correct schedule of rates and material required meets the design standards and method of measurement for all designs created or reviewed.- Liaise with and support various external and internal stakeholders including construction staff to solve in-field design issues in a timely manner to prevent delays in construction timelines.
How you'll connect to the role:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or field experience highly regarded- Relevant experience in the delivery of design and construct telecommunications projects preferred- An understanding of fibre and copper technology and networks- Proven commitment to leading safety, quality and environmental compliance on/off site- Ambitious and driven personality- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities- Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely 2.0 Culture
