**About the role**

Be a part of a critical function that supports Operations evolve how they deliver work into the future at the Water Corporation.

This role will see you actively manage the holistic approach to prioritising and sequencing improvement initiatives across Operations Group. The aim is to ensure change projects deliver benefits aligned with operational excellence principles. This includes owning the design and delivery of initiatives within Operations Group as well as providing change management support and/or project managing the delivery of initiatives depending on requirements.

You will be job sharing this role on a part time basis (0.6 FTE) and will be responsible for leading a small team and working with many diverse stakeholders across the business. The role presents an opportunity to put into action your change management, program & project management, and stakeholder skills across a wide range of change initiatives.

**What the role will involve**:

- Develop a holistic initiative plan capturing all proposed projects impacting upon operations, focusing on proposed commencement, duration, resourcing, complexity, and risk.
- Assess incoming initiatives to ensure alignment with Operational Excellence strategies and prioritise sequence and review initiative proposals
- Manage and undertake the review of the initiative and communication strategy for each project, ensuring that the project plan is in standard format, and meets the required criteria in terms of purpose, scope, risk, resources, benefit, and communications.
- Ensure our strategies and planning minimise the impact on Operations Group.
- Identify, engage, and communicate with project sponsors and key stakeholders for projects, taking a corporate, end-user and external customer viewpoint.
- Visibly lead, engage, and support all team members and foster a spirit of teamwork and unity that encourages high performance and allows each employee to be successful
