**About the role**
The Supporter Stewardship Officer supports the Supporter Relationships team to deliver a highly personalised stewardship and conversion program to a significant portfolio of Gifts in Wills and mid to high potential supporters nationally. The position delivers engaging supporter experiences to ultimately increase planned and philanthropic giving and support income growth.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Develops and maintains relationships with supporters via telephone and written communications to strengthen supporters' connection with, and trust in, WWF-Australia.
- Works jointly with Relationship Coordinators in the Supporter Relationships Team to deliver personalised engagement activities to bequestors and supporters giving at a mid-level donor level.
- Responds to enquiries generated by growth activities.
- Accurately captures and records information to maintain the supporter database as an effective relationship management tool.
- Supports the preparation of advice, discussion papers and reports to contribute to the evaluation of stewardship and growth activities.
- Builds cohesive internal relationships to achieve strategically aligned goals.
- Promotes philanthropic giving programs internally to familiarise colleagues with different giving channels and promote a culture of support for programs and donor-centricity.
**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
- Well-developed interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated high level customer service skills.
- Demonstrated self-organisation and attention to detail with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated track record working both independently and as a part of a constructive high-performance team.
- A demonstrated ability to build relationships with diverse groups and deal sensitively with people and personal information.
- An engaging and approachable manner.
- Demonstrated skills and experience using databases or record-keeping software.
- A proven ability to acquire knowledge of policies, rules and regulations governing charitable giving, including state and federal laws relating to information practices, bequests and charity organisations.
- Intermediate level skills in MS Office.
