**About the Role**

Being one of Australia’s leading manufacturers in the building & interiors industry requires ongoing support and maintenance of electrical equipment. As a result, we are seeking an experienced and safety orientated Electrical Technical Officer at our Toolara site, based near Gympie in QLD.

This will be a Monday - Friday salaried role.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Maintain the integrity of the Plant manufacturing control systems and networks
- Provide support to the Electrical team on developmental work and fault finding
- Recommend and implement control system modifications to improve productivity and safety
- Provide support for planning and specifying control systems for all on-site capital works
- Optimise existing Plant machinery and processes to consistently provide maximum output / throughput
- Provide project supervision.

**Your skills and experience**:

- Electrical or Instrumentation trade qualification
- Intimate understanding and knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems including the ability to program
- Project supervision experience
- Previous experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting
- Experience in controlling manufacturing operating systems
