**Our Team & Opportunity**

APAC Strategy and Planning are responsible for developing and supporting the delivery of the technology strategy across the region. Our team consists of specialist in the fields of financial management and reporting, IT risk analysis and oversight, program and project delivery and WoW (Ways of Working)/Agile Coaching community of practice. We support a diversified workforce of a approx. 280 based in the Melbourne offices.

We have an immediate opening for a 6 month contractor to join our APAC Strategy and Planning team as a Senior Agile Coach.

**What you will do**
- ** Domain Expertise**
- Experience with enterprise technologies and knowledge of and experience with extreme programming values and practices
- ** Coach the team on agile/lean delivery, agile planning, managing dependencies and risks**
- Ensure basic agile 101 principles, practices and cadence are followed
- Facilitate the practices such as team norms, Definition of Done (DoD) and Definition of Ready (DoR) based on team's work. Provides continuous feedback
- Mentor Product Owners and Scrum Masters to make the right, consistent decisions
- ** Establish a product and customer centric team mindset, ensure we build the right thing for our customers by**
- Embracing IT, Business and Partner engagement model with use of “product roadmaps” to map out the evolution of product and influence “delivery roadmaps”
- Ensures focus on business value; don’t just build things right but build the right things
- Promotes an iterative approach. Deliver at speed in small slices
- ** Cultivate growth mindset and increase competency of the crew and leaders for agile transformation, so they can help to “lead the change”**
- Embracing problems and welcome opportunities to adapt and pivot; promote innovation, experimentation and focus on psychological safety
- Facilitate assessments each quarter establishing baselining metrics on performance and continuous improvements
- ** Organisational transformation - embed **ways of working **principles and providing support**
- Coach leaders to navigate their role in a dynamic environment through the cultural changes. Approach coaching techniques from the top down as well as bottom up where desired
- Ensures delivery against the regional and enterprise WoW OKRs
- Helping uplift the Crew engagement and Inclusion. Partner with local and global coaching resource to drive Communities of Practices (CoP)
- Drives and maintain the transformative strategy across IT and support the business journey as required

**What are we looking for**
- Undergraduate degree in an IT related field or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree referred.
- Min 5+ years agile experience, including 2+ years as an agile practitioner and 3+ years as an agile coach (~1 year experience in managing multiple agile teams (i.e. scrum of scrums or SAFe))
- Strong communication, facilitation, persuasion and influence, decision making, and conflict resolution skills. Able to operate effectively at all levels - junior through executive
- Experience using delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence LAI metrics
