Operations Advisor | National Medical Law Team

What are we looking for?

We are now seeking an Operations Advisor to join our Sydney Office on a permanent full-time basis.

Reporting to the Head of Medical Law, this role you have you providing superior planning, management and delivery of our Personal Injury Operations across the National Medical Law Practice.

Responsibility for driving process improvements, together with:

- Manage the Medical Law teams across the country to ensure compliance with process procedures
- Understand, manage and control budget and cost expenditure
- Design, create and review documentation to promote continuous improvement
- Coordinate and manage all National Medical Law communications and drive initiatives and communication plans
- Proactively manage and build strong internal and external relationships, with a major focus on collaborative working while delivering excellent customer service
- Keep things simple while driving innovation, removing blockages and anticipate and adapt to a changing market and business challenges
- Work with a continuous improvement and process efficiency approach to:

- Drive consistency and explore opportunities to remove duplication
- Support key business operations activities
- Strong technical skills for using various information systems & tools to identify performance improvement opportunities
- Supporting the Head of Medical Law with diary and travel management

What will you bring?

To be successful in this position, you will need the following skills and attributes:

- Ability to build rapport with all levels of staff as you partner with key relationships across the business to assist in the strategy and delivery of processes and procedures, some of which include: Finance, Project Teams and HR
- Superior communication skills
- Strong organisation and development skills as you manage all projects across Medical Law
- Strong technical abilities as you work across developing precedents and prepare reporting documents
- Ability to exercise judgement & resolve problems expeditiously & satisfactorily
- Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
- High attention to detail
