**The Company**
Within the agricultural sector, our client is a not for profit, industry organisation that is seen as the focal point for their industry. Through leadership, advocacy, and commercial services they deliver value to members through efficient and effective facilitation of commercial activities across the supply chain.
**The Role**
Reporting to the Finance Manager, there is now the requirement for a
**Communications and Events Coordinator** to join the team. The role is responsible for managing the a) Communications and b) Events including training courses and conferences, for the business. Due to the small size of the team, you will be a doer, and prepared to assist other team members as required to get things done. There is the option to work 4 days per week if you are an efficient operator.
This involves:
- Managing the strategic communications plan
- Driving communications and publications to industry
- Delivering successful events
- Managing the website and social media
- Administration of training workshops
**The Person**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Advanced technical software skills
- Customer Service focus
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
- Experience in event management & communications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
You will have creative flair, good attention to detail skills, initiative to be able to multitask and prioritise effectively. Being proactive and wanting to help others will come naturally to you.
The role is initially based in the open plan head office, conveniently located in the Sydney CBD and then later there is flexibility to balance some work from home as required. There is a requirement to travel domestically to events periodically. A competitive salary package is on offer, including flexible working arrangements.
