**The role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive Administrative Assistant to provide high level and effective administrative support and assistance to the Years 7-9 and Years 10-12 teams.

You will be responsible for diary management, document and report production, event preparation and coordination, committee support including minute taking, responding to queries, and general administrative and office management tasks.

**The successful applicant will have the following attributes**:

- A minimum of 12 months demonstrated experience in a similar role with a record of delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Post-secondary study in business administration or related areas would be advantageous
- Highly developed computer skill and literacy, with advanced skills in MS Office. Experience using school management systems, such as Synergetic and Schoolbox, will be advantageous
- Experience effectively managing and supporting the work of several busy supervisors/managers
- Demonstrated knowledge of administrative processes and databases
- Possess a positive outlook and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and interact with both adults and students
- Will have high level communication skills
- Can work independently but also as part of a dynamic, creative and collaborative team
- Willing to be involved in the life of the School and it’s programs
- Demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to following the School’s child safety expectations, principles and policies
- Have a current Employee Working with Children check or willing to obtain prior to commencement
- Have a current National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months)
