**The Role**
Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Program Manager supports the ongoing management of the department’s entry programs including (but not limited to) the Australian Government Graduate Development Program and the Australian Government Apprenticeship Program, a whole-of-government program administered by the department.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
The Program Manager is responsible for supporting the end-to-end management of the entry programs, including:

- Coordinating the attraction, recruitment and selection, learning and development, and evaluation for the department’s entry programs.
- Administering the entry programs, including but not limited to:

- offers and onboarding.
- relocation assistance.
- facilitating induction.
- overseeing program placements.
- training facilitation.
- event management (orientation, in-house training, networking events, completion ceremonies).
- budget management.
- procurement and contract management.
- Supporting the expansion of our Indigenous Pathways Programs including the establishment of an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student program.
- Engaging with, and providing advice and support to, entry participants and their supervisors, including addressing or escalating concerns or issues as appropriate.
- Drafting correspondence, guidance materials and reports as required for recruitment and entry program activities.
