**About the Role**
The Australian Institute for Infectious Disease (AIID) is an exciting partnership between the University of Melbourne, the Peter Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity and the Burnet Institute to enhance our research, public health, educational and translational capability in infectious diseases.

As the Campaign Officer, you will work closely with the Senior Advancement Project Manager, AIID, and the Director, Head of Fundraising AIID to support the fundraising campaign for the AIID. You will proactively assist with the coordination, and implementation of programs and activities that engage with prospective donors to the AIID including tours, bespoke and larger events. You will be required to track and monitor engagement with prospective donors to the AIID and ensure the Advancement CRM is kept updated.

A proactive approach to the management of projects, including the ability to keep projects on track and within scope, as well as identifying opportunities and ways to improve systems is required.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships across the University of Melbourne, Doherty Institute and Burnet Institute to ensure the efficient delivery of administrative services in a diplomatic way
- Preparation of briefing materials and presentations for donor activities
- Support the Director of Advancement, AIID and the Senior Director MDHS Advancement, to track and monitor prospective donors to the AIID and ensuring that the Advancement CRM is kept up to date

**Who We Are Looking For**
We are seeking an enthusiastic problem solver with extreme attention to detail who can display a high level of discretion, independent judgment, and professionalism while dealing with confidential and sensitive issues and documentation. You will demonstrate high-level organisational skills and can ensure that tasks are completed on time to meet deadlines. You are highly proactive and have outstanding oral and written communication skills that will assist you in building rapport with stakeholders from Across the University, the Doherty Institute and the Burnet Institute.

You will also have:

- Completion of a degree or Advancement related diploma, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail, including the ability to prioritise workload and ensure the timely delivery of projects to both internal and external bodies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and University supported software, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and CRM systems
