**The Role**
Maritime Integrated Warfare Systems (MIWS) Branch is seeking two motivated EL2 Directors with strong knowledge in Shipbuilding and Combat Systems. **About our Team**
MIWS Branch under Major Surface Combatants and Combat Systems Division (MSCCS) is an exciting and complex environment to work in, offering a rewarding career in one of the most dynamic organisations within Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group (NSSG).
We work across both Acquisition and Sustainment environments to deliver Acquisition Projects, and to develop and deliver Combat Systems products into new shipbuilding programs and existing Royal Australian Navy (RAN) ships, giving our staff exposure to a wide variety of high profile Maritime activities.
SEA4000-6 Project Director
- Lead the SEA4000-6 Project related Waterfront Operations functions in support of delivering the Destroyer Capability Enhancement (DCE) activities;
- Foster strategic stakeholder relationships including with Industry Partners, Naval Construction Branch (NCB) and the Royal Australian Navy (RAN);
- Provide delegation authority where appropriate for SEA4000-6 Project Waterfront Operations objectives;
- Provide governance and oversight to the Waterfront Delivery Team from a SEA4000-6 Project perspective; and
- As an MIWS Executive representative in Adelaide, provide executive leadership and representation as required by Director General MIWS.
General Purpose Frigate (GPF) Combat Systems (CS) Director
- Lead the Combat System (CS) related functions in support of the Acquisition and Transition into Service of the SEA3000 General Purpose Frigate (GPF);
- Lead the CS design, integration, Acceptance Test & Evaluation (AT&E) and certification activities for the SEA 3000 Project;
- Foster relationships with MIWS Matrix functions, Integrated Project Team (IPT) members, Fundamental Input to Capability (FIC) leads, RAN, Industry and International Partners; and
- Provide GPF CS representation at meetings, technical working groups, design reviews and AT&E activities.
