**The role**
Leading a team of 4 in AP & AR you will ensure the company maintains high levels of customer service, as well as facilitating consistent and accurate delivery of AR and AP services to the numerous internal and external stakeholders, through managing daily operational activities.
- To lead both the AR and AP teams to achieve efficient management of their respective areas.
- Provide training to the existing transactional services team, and new team members, ensuring all pivotal tasks can be covered during staff leave
- Identification of administration and accounting practices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- To prepare and present accurate AR and AP ledgers with commentary on Risk and Opportunities.
- To prepare monthly Executive Team AR and AP reporting updates.
- Manage domestic / international banking transaction with the aim to ensure payments/receipts are allocated and the reconciliation of the banking system is accurate and complete.
- Improvements: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Support the Finance Team in all stages of project work, including development, testing and deployment of new and automated systems.
- Provide support to the GM Finance and Group Reporting Manager as required.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as directed from time to time.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership capability to lead from the front and support a small team to succeed.
- Great communication skills with an ability to build deep relationships and understand stakeholder pain points.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, particularly with MS Excel (formulas and pivots) and MS Outlook
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite (preferable)
