As a Production Team Leader, you will oversee a new Supported Hosted Employment team at a timber recycling site in Narangba. This role involves supervising and supporting Employees with disability, to reclaim and process timber.

You will lead with empathy and play a vital role in enhancing the vocational opportunities of our employees while ensuring commercial outcomes are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

- Guiding employees in tasks like removing metal from wood, using hand tools, measuring, stacking timber, and preparing for kiln processing.
- Motivate and mentor a diverse workforce, fostering a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
- Supervise and guide employees that we support to meet Ndis goals and commercial outcomes.
- Promote positive behaviour support and a collaborative team culture.
- Conduct skills training, assessments, and performance reviews in collaboration with Employment Coaches.
- Ensure production meets customer expectations regarding quality, delivery timeframes and business requirements.
- Monitor operations to ensure they meet production standards, making adjustments to process as needed.

**What you can bring to the team**
- Experience in disability support will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in a production environment with a proven ability to coordinate projects and delegate activities to a diverse team advantageous.
- Experience with hand tools highly regarded.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear and concise information is presented to the team.
- A genuine commitment to the purpose and values of the organisation with a natural empathetic nature.
- Forklift license highly desirable.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Drivers License.
