- Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
- $71,286 pa (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + 12% super (level 6)
- _Please note, progression in remuneration (up to Level 8 - $75,378 inc. allowances + super) is available for this position upon meeting performance and training requirements outlined in a structured crew leader framework._

- 76 hour fortnight
- Location: Narangba - please note, this position will be moving to a Narangba location in the coming months.

As one of our Parks Crew Leaders, you’ll take charge of maintaining and enhancing green spaces on your designated run, while leading a small team of 1-2 operational staff. This role combines hands on horticultural work with basic administrative duties to ensure the smooth delivery of landscape maintenance services.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating daily operations, leading team members and ensuring tasks are completed safely and to a high standard. Your leadership will help maintain the quality and presentation of public open spaces across various environments.

Key Duties:

- Undertaking general horticultural maintenance, including:
- Mowing and brush cutting
- Planting and mulching
- Pruning and weeding
- Operate and maintain relevant equipment and machinery
- Drive truck and trailer to and from work sites
- Supervise and support team members in the field
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and work standards

In addition to fieldwork, you’ll use digital tools (such as tablets or computers) to manage basic administrative tasks. This includes creating and updating work orders, reviewing maintenance schedules and identifying the resources and materials needed for each task or project.

Together, your leadership in the field and your organisational skills will drive the successful upkeep of our green open space assets.

**About you**

Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - are essential, along with the ability to manage basic administrative duties and effectively use digital tools and software to support scheduling and reporting.

To be successful in this role, you must also hold:

- A current Medium Rigid (MR) class truck licence or above
- A Construction Induction Card (or willingness to obtain before starting)
- Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control (ACDC) certification (or willingness to obtain within six months of commencement)

While not mandatory for initial employment, a Certificate III in Horticulture, Parks and Gardens, Landscape Construction, or a similar qualification is desirable. This qualification will be required for progression within the Crew Leader Framework
