**The Opportunity**

A wonderful career opportunity is available for a passionate, experienced and creative **Social Media and Content Manager** to join our team, reporting to our Marketing Manager - Social & Content.

As Social Media and Content Manager, you will take ownership of developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to drive significant social impact for our iconic Australian brands including Tim Tam, Shapes & Arnott’s.

**A Day in the Life of our Social Media and Content Manager could look like**:

- Collaborating with our brand teams to understand their strategies, and ideating how to drive further impact of these on social media
- Developing a strategy to take our Shapes TikTok to the next level to engage Gen Z’s
- Analysing our content performance to identify data driven insights and opportunities to drive further traffic and conversions on our Tim Tam D2C store
- Ideating creative concepts with our internal Chef for an upcoming Easter baking social shoot
- Leveraging Social Listening Martech to generate insight driven content ideas
- Developing a brief for an upcoming influencer campaign to drive consideration of Vita-Weat as a healthy, convenient way to lunch
- Ideating and executing a piece of reactive content based on a trending news article

**The Accountabilities**
- Developing and managing the implementation of social media strategies and quarterly social media content plans across our key brands (Tim Tam, Shapes, Arnott’s), aligned with brand plans
- Developing creative concepts for insight-driven and engaging content aligned with your strategy across multiple channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest), and briefing content development to our in-house graphic designer and producer
- Manage and oversee the development of all social media content and copywriting, ensuring it is in line with strategy and brand guidelines
- Lead the expansion of our brand footprint and social channel expansion with new opportunities (e.g. launching Tim Tam on TikTok)
- Leverage social listening, sharing and utilising insights to develop topical, engaging content, inclusive of agile and reactive opportunities
- Analysis of social media results and social analytics using available MarTech to identify data-driven insights and opportunities for future content
- Presentation of quarterly plans and monthly results to key internal stakeholders, including senior management, in an insights driven and digestible way
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and technologies, ensuring we are always driving to Best In Class Social Media activation
- Close collaboration with Marketing, PR, Corporate Comms, and Customer Experience teams.
- Hire and train others in the team.

**The Ingredients for Success**

Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:

- Passionate about social media and content creation
- Ability to ideate concepts and ideas, and manage through to delivery
- 5+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, using social media to drive impressions and engagement
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills across multiple stakeholders, seniority levels and teams, and ability to tell a compelling story through presentation
- Strong analytical capabilities in assessing content performance, industry reports, and social listening data
- Experience managing projects using digital tools such as Trello and / or Asana
- Experience utilising social management MarTech such as Sprinklr / HootSuite / Social Sprout for social listening and analysing content performance
- Excellent knowledge of best practices for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, and other social media.
- Great understanding of social media KPIs and measuring success.
- Excellent multitasking skills.
- Great leadership skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional planning, organisation and time-management skills.
