**How will I help?**
Our team is expanding as we continue to develop our strong community engagement and deliver relevant banking services for our remote Indigenous customers. We are seeking a strong Indigenous Leader to join our team. Your role as an Executive Manager, Community Engagement will be a key member of the National Leadership Team within Westpac Indigenous Banking and is paramount to helping contribute to Westpac’s vision and strategic priorities to deliver financial wellbeing to Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander People.
- Key responsibilities include: _
- Leading and coaching a team to empower our Indigenous customers with financial wellbeing and inclusion
- Leading a team of Managers who understand the Westpac Indigenous Banking strategic intent and direction and have clear goals, objectives and accountabilities which empower them to deliver across both the Westpac and St George brands
- Leading performance management and employee development to ensure all members of your team have the skills required and are empowered to serve our Indigenous customers and fulfil their expressed and unexpressed needs
- Leading to deliver the people experience KPI’s including employee engagement, performance engagement, high performer and new starter retention, leave planning and balance management and same day reporting
- Driving and deepening relationships with community leads to ensure Indigenous customers are financially included
- Working together with business partners to provide an exceptional service experience that delivers quality solutions for our Indigenous customers, communities and people
- Woring closely with Managers to coach and support their local branches to achieve performance objectives by meeting customers expressed and unexpressed needs to earn all of their business

**What do I need?**
- Proven experience working in remote and/or Indigenous communities
- Knowledge and understanding of understanding of Indigenous needs opportunities and challenges within rural and remote communities
- Demonstrable experience in service and relationship management
- Demonstrable experience in leadership roles managing teams
- Proven track record in driving business performance through strategic competence and effective people leadership
- Demonstrated passion for delivering a customer experience that delights customers, increases referrals and earns community engagement through financial inclusion
- Ability to manage performance independently and deliver results as part of a team
