**Key Responsibilities**
Strategic Leadership: Collaborate within a matrix management approach to develop and implement strategic objectives that align with Community Vision’s purpose, goals, and values.
Team Management: Inspire, mentor, and lead a team of Support Workers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Customer Advocacy: Engage with prospective and existing customers, their families, and community stakeholders to understand their needs and advocate for necessary supports.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive monthly financial and operational reports, providing insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, funding bodies, and service providers to enhance service delivery and secure resources.
Program Development: Innovate and implement programs that enrich the lives of our customers and promote community integration.
As the Community Life Manager, you will be at the heart of our mission, driving a person-centred approach to service delivery. You will oversee a dedicated team of Support Workers, ensuring they provide exceptional care and support to our customers, their families, and supporters. Your role will involve strategic planning, community engagement, and meticulous reporting to foster a thriving community.
**Essential Qualifications and Experience**
- Experience in a leadership or management role in aged care, NDIS, or health care sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to meet people easily and put them at ease.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, work effectively with competing priorities, problem-solve, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to actively contribute to the ongoing successful delivery of NDIS and Aged Care Standards.
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
- Up-to-date flu vaccination.
- NDIS Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Police Check (within the last six months or willingness to obtain one).
- Proven experience in operational service delivery, with a strong background in Aged Care.
- Expertise in safety and risk management, case management, and budget oversight.
- In-depth knowledge of aged care and the aged care standards.
- Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client services effectively.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in human services, allied health, or case management (desirable but not mandatory).
- Current First Aid Certificate.
