**The Role**
We are offering a rare opportunity for a dynamic and versatile individual to join Oroton as Supply and Distribution Manager. The primary focus of this role will be overseeing our inbound and outbound international operations and day to day supply and distribution management of Oroton supply chain divisions. This role involves developing and executing effective purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies to ensure optimal stock levels, cost efficiency, and quality standards. This role will be responsible for all aspects of supply chain across our international supply chain and supply chain divisions.
**Key Responsibilities**
Key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Overseeing and optimising the transportation of goods across borders for our organisation
- Reporting, analysing and deriving insights and trends across our international shipping operations.
- Day to day operations of the supply chain divisions across all channels.
- Working towards a best-in-class supply chain standard and driving continuous improvement throughout the function.

- Create and implement processes in relation to the efficient and cost-effective management of DC, supply chain and freight.
- Continuous cross-training across various supply chain functions within the supply chain, creating a highly skilled and versatile team
- Maintain strong relationships with freight forwarding partners to ensure clear communication as well as monitoring and coordination of shipments
- Monitor and measure shipping delays ensuring delivery expectations are continuously updated with all departments
- Ensure customs information is provided and clearance proceeds without issue, including ensuring documentation/paperwork requirements are sufficient and compliant
- Monitor shipment related purchase orders and identify discrepancies, collaborating with relevant stakeholders and conducting end-to-end investigations to resolve variances
- Reconcile invoicing and working alongside the Supply Chain team to monitor and maintain KPI and audit requirements
- Build strong and effective relationships with accountability and transparency between all supply chain partners and suppliers
- Develop, implement and monitor strategies, policies and processes to enhance existing and future operations
- Proactively identify and investigate issues and queries in relation to day-to-day operations
- Ensure efficient movement of freight from supplier to DC and DC to store/customer and 3PL to customer, managing final mile delivery across all channels
- Ensure inventory integrity across supply chain functions including owning, managing and optimising inventory management solutions
- Identify issues and lead end-to-end investigations with cross-functional stakeholders through ongoing monitoring, development and implementation of inventory systems
- Play a key role in identifying, reporting and presenting recommendations relating to issues that could impact costs and efficiency as well as improve business operations, as they relate to the Supply Chain function
- This position involves comprehensive cross-training across various functions within the supply chain, fostering a highly skilled and versatile team capable of seamlessly navigating all aspects of the Supply Chain function
