**The Position**:
If you are looking for a typical high volume, repetitious leasing position - then this is NOT it

This role is responsible for building relationships with developers, and working with them to secure future sites for this retailer. You will be responsible for negotiating an agreement for lease (AFL); presenting the opportunity to the senior management team for approval; 'project managing' the store through its various development stages from design, delivery and through to store opening (literally). Because of this, you can expect projects to take 1-3years to come to fruition. Along side this, you will have a portfolio of existing stores you'll oversees, but it is the new site identification that is the key focus.

**The Ideal Profile**:
Because of the core focus of the role, this role would really suit someone that has existing relationships with developers, that they can leverage to ensure that you get first right to negotiate for a site. This might mean you have development experience or have worked for a retailer with a larger footprint and doing less volume, or you may even be in some sort of transaction management position.

You need to have great relationship and stakeholder management skills to assist with guiding the project through the various hurdles of approval and agreement. You will also be a strong negotiator, and know how to put together an AFL.

This is a role looking at opportunities in both metro and regional areas, so you need to know the Victorian market
