We are seeking a reliable part-time permanent electrician to join our friendly team to carry out smoke alarm maintenance and wireless smoke alarm installations in the Brisbane area for our growing smoke alarm company.

Being well presented, neat and tidy in the work environment, enthusiastic with a real care factor to satisfy people's smoke alarm and sometimes electrical requirements, then you will tick all the boxes and be a valued part of our fantastic team. Uniforms and training will be provided to enable you to flourish.

The job is to help our customers get and remain compliant with the new Queensland domestic smoke alarm regulations. The regulations were introduced in 2017 with a 10-year phase-in period affecting all class 1a and 2 dwellings (domestic). Our company specialises in upgrading the smoke alarms in these dwellings to comply with these new laws as well as performing ongoing smoke alarm maintenance.

This position would be perfect for an electrician who wants to slow down a little, not work in ceilings and carry out one main scope of work.

With over 17000 customers and growing, our business is destined to boom next year as the deadline for Queensland homeowners to adhere to the new Queensland smoke alarm laws nears. This is a real opportunity for you to choose to work as little or as much as you wish when the phones are running hot

Our office is located in Holland Park West. You would only need to visit our friendly team at the office to pick up stock for your scheduled jobs.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 36 per week

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Electrician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Electrical Licence (preferred)
