Retail Data Analyst

This role is a Hybrid work arrangement working from home and in the office each week as well as from our Mount Waverley Head Office. The day will see you handle Data Extraction and Analysis, Maintain House Base Pricing, Reporting, Sales and Product Analysis and Documentation and Process Mapping.

Reporting to the Retail Systems Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

- The maintenance, extraction and analysis of Retail Pricing and Product data, ensuring accuracy in vital reporting and margin management
- Maintain House Base Pricing
- Sales and Product Analysis
- Create and maintain functional working documents/process maps for key business system processes
- Provide accurate and timely solutions to enhance Business Performance in the Retail Team
- Make recommendations on improvements to Retail team
- Establish prices in accordance with company margin and cost schedules; and
- Adhere to company coding conventions for inventory.

- Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience using Microsoft Business Intelligence suite including: Excel VBA, SQL and data modelling techniques
- Previous experience with reporting technologies, particularly Power BI
- Data warehouse knowledge advantageous
- Minimum 2 Years experience within the residential home building industry preferred
- Intermediate computer skills, in Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.

- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written - grammar & spelling, questioning, and probing)
