**About the DEI at the City of Parramatta**:
The City of Parramatta is going through unprecedented change and transformation as it becomes Sydney’s Central City. The intensity of growth and investment in City of Parramatta means that Council, their partners, and community have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to shape the City’s future and ensure it is culturally, socially, environmentally and economically sustainable.
Developed and endorsed in late 2021, our DEI Strategy aims to attract, develop and retain unique talent; foster an inclusive workplace, and reflect the aspirations of our diverse community. Over the past year we have had incredible momentum with raising awareness of diversity, equity and inclusion across the organisation. This includes launching DEI Employee Resource Groups (LGBTIQ+, Gender, Multi-generational, Veteran’s and Disability), conducting our very first CoP DEI Survey, becoming a member of Pride in Diversity and a Silver member of the Australian Network on Disability, recently having one of our community plans called the Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) endorsed, and much more. We are looking for a passionate individual to help us continue this momentum
