**This Opportunity**
Our client is seeking an experienced Rostering Manager to join their team in this newly created role on an immediate basis or short notice (1-2 weeks notice). You will have the autonomy to drive improvements with the rostering processes and make the role your own, being the senior in a team of 6 rostering officers. In this role, you will also be working with an external stakeholder who is assisting with a payroll project.

The business is in an extremely meaningful industry and they offer hybrid working condition. They are based in Western Sydney and there is local parking available. This is a real contract to permanent opportunity as the business is requiring a manager for the long-term.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be responsible for, but not limited to the following;_
- Analyse the current rostering processes
- Suggest and implement improvements in the rostering and staff management processes to align the business' processes with industry best practices
- Develop standard rostering procedures & guidelines
- Develop measurable & standardised reporting data & benchmarks
- Lead, motivate, and assist team members towards best practice
- Ensure efficient staff allocation & use of resources
- Experience with Award & EBA interpretation
- has handled complexity of awards
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role
- A strong understanding of good rostering principles and practices
- Be passionate about process improvement and bringing ideas to the table / experience with process improvement
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team
- Priortise tasks efficiently and manage time effectively
- A very meaningful industry
