**We are recruiting for a Rostering Co-Ordinator**

We are seeking an experienced rostering coordinator to join our close-knit team. This position suits somebody who enjoys building and coordinating every aspect of a very busy roster. It is a crucial role within the organisation. (Requirement - minimum 2 years in a rostering role where you had sole responsibility for all rostering, or similar administrative experience.)

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**

The position of rostering officer is responsible for all rostering and related administrative tasks.
- Ensure Shifts are filled in alignment with Rostering guidelines, maintaining community sector legislation and SCHADS award
- Oversee the management of fortnightly rosters of approximately 100 employees.
- Experience with Shiftcare is desirable
- Assist community liaison to select suitable support workers to match participants requirements
- Maintain accurate records using roster software. (ShitCare)
- Accurately record customer services and relevant issues
- Ensure the database is accurate and up to date.
- Administration duties as required
- Other duties include handling cancellations and amendments, contact with clients and external providers and maintaining accurate and up to date information relating to day to day operations.
- Be the direct point of contact for support workers in relation to roster management and service delivery.
- Professional phone manner
- Liase with staff regarding changes and updates to the roster.
- Liase with participants to ensure they are aware of any staffing changes.
- Work closely with the client services team to schedule rosters to achieve optimal outcomes for participants and the organisation.
- Ongoing review, development, and implementation of improvements to rostering processes.
- Interpret SIL ROC’s and use these to construct/alter staff rosters
- Ensure compliance with industrial instruments and WHS legislation.
- Monitor and report on data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Train staff on rostering systems
- Contributing to effective staff consultations when rosters change
- Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.

**Team work and collaboration is a crucial aspect of this role as you will be working within a small admin team.**

- Pass a National Criminal History Check
- Valid NSW Drivers licence
- NDIS screening card
- NDIS workers orientation module certificate
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong knowledge and experience in NDIS
- Strong computer skills
- Professional Manner with the ability to communicate at all levels
- strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
- Highly organised.

- **What you will need**_
- You must have previous industry experience in work force scheduling and planning of staff.
- Strong commitment of quality and a proven high level of work output
- Able to share relevant information with other team members in a timely and concise manner
- An ability to demonstrate flexibility and willingness to adapt to change working in fast paced environment
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate with others well.
- Knowledge of the disability support sector or community services is expected.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
- Strong time management skills
