**About the role**

Legion Drilling, a leader in the geotechnical and environmental drilling industry, is excited to offer an opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team. We specialize in drilling operations for soil and rock characterization, groundwater monitoring, and environmental site assessments, and we are seeking talented individuals to contribute to our ongoing Sonic and Geotechnical projects in Sydney.

**Role Overview**:
As an **Engineering Manager**, you will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing our drilling operations from a technical and strategic perspective. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of engineering processes, improving operational efficiencies, and leading technical initiatives that enhance project outcomes. Working closely with drillers, project managers, and external stakeholders, your responsibilities will include:

- Providing technical guidance and oversight for drilling operations
- Developing and implementing engineering solutions to improve efficiency and safety
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Managing maintenance programs for drilling equipment and infrastructure
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support project success

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week

- Certificate I - IV (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Drilling: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift License (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
