**The role**:
IMC currently seek an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to oversee operational maintenance activity across multiple IMC sites in the Pilbara and Goldfields regions of WA. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance plan and schedule for site maintenance activities is executed to achieve operational targets with a focus on safety and the economic preservation of the life cycle of the asset.

**Tasks include but not limited to**:

- Implement a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule for different sites of operation, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, and lead the team to deliver effectively.
- Optimise equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all maintenance standards.
- Ensure routine calibration and maintenance requirements of a variety of electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken.
- Ensure that designated plant, machinery and equipment at each site are fit for purpose and provide proactive support/solutions when required.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager to develop clear accountability for maintenance material spend combined with a strategy to manage expenditure.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in managing the introduction of new plant, machinery, plant and equipment from drawing up the specification, to managing suppliers through to full installation in collaboration with relevant parties.
- Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand

**About you**:

- Appropriate qualification in Asset Management, Maintenance Services, Engineering
- Proven experience in the day-to-day management of maintenance services
- Demonstrated success in aspects relating to maintenance services
- Well-developed financial and management skills
- Strong analytical ability
- Strong customer and human relations skills
- Sound computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and database systems
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of a Mining or Civil Engineering Contractor Supplier organisation
- Previous exposure to a similar role
- Previous experience in CAT gear or similar
- Valid Drivers licence and current National Police Check
